Magic Hat tasting at Blanc tonight

Blanc Burgers + Bottles hosts a free Magic Hat #9 tasting at its Plaza location (4710 Jefferson) this evening from 4 to 6.

Magic Hat is still fairly new to Kansas City. The Vermont brewery’s signature #9 beer has only been available here since December. If you’ve been holding off, this is a great excuse to take the plunge. 

Conveniently, the tasting overlaps with Blanc’s regular happy hour (Monday to Friday, 3 to 6 p.m.). In addition to $2 sliders, you can get $4 gouda fondue fries and half-off appetizers.

If Magic Hat #9 isn’t your mug of beer — despite the fact that it’s free — you can get 2-for-1 Missouri beers and 2-for-1 well drinks instead. And if you want to stay out late, there’s a large-format Missouri beer special, which is basically $3 off the Smokestack Series from Boulevard.
