Magic Hat has three new releases for summer

Frank Sinatra had the summer wind — Kansas City gets a new summer variety pack courtesy of the Magic Hat Brewing Company.

The craft brewer out of Vermont has been expanding its presence in Kansas City since introducing its signature Apricot Ale, Magic Hat #9, at the end of last year. In December, Fat City had a chance to talk to Magic Hat co-founder Alan Newman about the Vermont brewery and its plans for the Kansas City market.

Magic Hat #9 is included in the new 12-packs for summer, which also include the Wacko Summer Seasonal, Blind Faith Summer IPA and Wild Ginger Ale: Summer Odd Notion ’10. The craft brewer sent over a sample box and I waited for a bit of sunshine to try them on my back patio.
