You say tomato, I say Lidia’s (101 W. 22nd St.). The Freight House restaurant’s tomato dinner is tonight and tomorrow. The annual multi-course meal is meant to highlight heirloom tomatoes, which are currently in season.

“It’s been a slow season to warm up, so we’re really just starting to get the best of them now,” says Dan Swinney, Lidia’s executive chef.
