Leslie Stockard has finally penned the cookbook that her customers have

been looking forward to for years.

She’ll be signing copies of the book, You Asked for It: The Classic Cookie & Cafe Cookbook,

between 3 and 4 p.m. on Saturday at Rainy Day Books (2706

West 53rd Street in Fairway). Get there early — Stockard will have

some of her signature muffins and cookies. The book retails for $19.95.
