Landlord’s lawsuit attempts to stop abortion services from returning to Wichita

More than a year after Dr. George Tiller was killed, a doctor finally stepped up to announce that Wichita would get abortion services again. In  December, Aid for Women announced that Dr. Mila Means was training in Kansas City, Kansas, for the job and would begin practicing in Wichita sometime this year.

Where assassination attempts have now failed to keep abortion out of Wichita, Means’ future landlord is attempting to keep her out through the courts. Foliage Development Inc., owner of the business park that Means’ clinic will be in, has obtained a temporary order blocking her from opening.
