Lamar’s Donuts has free doughnuts for National Donut Day on Friday

One should never look a gift food holiday in the mouth. Instead, you should cram your mouth full of doughnuts this Friday, June 7. That’s when Lamar’s Donuts (a list of all locations is available here) wants to help you celebrate National Donut Day with a free doughnut.

In exchange for your doughnut, you might think about dropping some money in the Salvation Army donation kettles outside Lamar’s. The 53-year-old doughut chain, started by Ray Lamar in Kansas City, Missouri, is also donating a portion of sales this week to the Salvation Army Oklahoma Relief Fund.
