Kings of Pastry: You’ll laugh! You’ll cry! You’ll want to eat pastry!

Kings of Pastry, a new documentary by Chris Hegedus and D.A. Pennebaker (creators of The War Room and Don’t Look Back), opens a weeklong tomorrow, October 8, at Screenland Crown Center.

The film depicts one of France’s most famous pastry contests, part of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, which is held every four years and pits trained craftspeople in a number of fields (including clothing design and ceramics and glassworks).
