The Kansas City Symphony is in the midst of its European tour and is sharing images and reactions from the trip with The Pitch. Their second date was on Saturday, August 29, when the Symphony returned to Hamburg to play at the Elbphilharmonie.

Says Joon Park, trumpet player, of their Hamburg date:

“Performing at the Elbphilharmonie is always such a thrill! I love playing this hall because it acoustically reminds me of home (Helzberg Hall). The architecture of the hall itself is second to none as well. The audience was so welcoming and energetic, and I hope to come back one day and play there again. Thank you, Hamburg!”
