Kansas City diners don’t have many brushes with celebrities, so you can understand if we might go a bit overboard. Last night, according to the above tweet from comedian Kathleen Madigan — in town for a show at the Midland this evening — Santa brought her a bottle of wine. Now whether the man looked like Santa, or Madigan was simply thanking the patron saint of gifts, remains to be determined. But she might just have had the perfect date: a free bottle of wine without all that unnecessary conversation.
