Kansas City named America’s 10th Best City for Pizza

Some may think the closest we get to pizza here in Kansas City is putting cheese and sauce on our barbecue. But eaters know different, and now Travel + Leisure, does as well. In this month’s issue, T+L named Kansas City 10th on its list of America’s Best Cities for Pizza. Here’s what they had to say about KC pies:

The traditional favorite is Minsky’s, while the newest contender is Pizzabella, in the Crossroads Arts District. It has won over locals with chorizo-with-pesto or egg-and-pancetta pizzas, as well as drinks and floats from food truck Little Freshie Sodas.
