In Kansas City, the gayest burger joint in town is Hamburger Mary’s. But a new ad for McDonald’s — airing only in France — is so gay-friendly that it’s causing international controversy. That includes ridicule from right-wing radio personality Bill O’Reilly, who asked whether an al-Qaida ad was next.The French ad features a young man and his father dining at McDonald’s. After his son shares a romantic cell-phone conversation with his male lover, the father brags about being a ladies man when he was younger.
