Julian’s Celina Tio wants diners to design her Sunday menu

All home cooks have a moment when they wonder if they could cut the mustard on the line in a restaurant kitchen. Julian’s Celina Tio is giving foodies a chance to realize that dream with a challenge to design her Sunday family meal.
The first diner-designed dinner is slated for September 12, when plumber Matt Murdick tries his hand at putting together a four-course menu (under Tio’s tutelage).
“I thought: Why don’t we bring people into the kitchen and see what they can do,” Tio says.
