Juicy’s Burgers and Spirits is now open in Zona Rosa

The burger blitz continues in the Northland. Juicy’s Burgers and Spirits, the latest venture from Mike Howell (who previously ran 77 South in Leawood), has opened in Zona Rosa. The new restaurant at 8600 N.W. Prairie View Road bakes its buns daily and has scratch sauces, including mustard and ketchup.
Right now they’re serving the Juicy Burger: a double-patty burger topped with American and pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and pepper bacon on a toasted onion bun. There’s also a Peanut Butter Slam (a burger with thick-cut bacon, creamy peanut butter and blackberry jam spread on a white brioche bun) and a fried-egg burger (an egg sunny side up, a slice of fried Spam and American cheese on a toasted corn bun). Juicy’s has four kinds of fries: thick-cut, buffalo (served with blue cheese dressing), sweet potato, and waffle, as well as an onion ring tower. Drew Six is slated to play – Juicy’s intends to have live music five nights a week – on Saturday, March 30, at 10 p.m. When the weather warms, the restaurant has garage doors that can be opened.
