Jack Stack’s HQ moving from Martin City to Overland Park

You always remember your first, but eventually life makes most of us move on to the next. That’s the case for Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue, which is moving its corporate headquarters from Martin City to 95 Metcalf Square in Overland Park in November.

The local barbecue institution, which operates four locations in the metro area, started out in Martin City with the 1974 opening of the Smokestack Barbeque restaurant. The success of that location led to Jack Stack’s first foray into Overland Park with a sister restaurant two decades later.
