It’s game over for the Plaza’s 810 Zone in April

  • It’s game over for the 810 Zone.

Pour a little Bud Light out on the ground and figure out someplace else to hold your fantasy football draft this year — Fox 4 reports that the 810 Zone is closing its Plaza location in early April. The sports bar moved into the former Canyon Cafe space at 4686 Broadway back in 2007.

KC Hopps will continue to operate the locations in Leawood’s Town Center (4800 W. 119th St.) and Harrah’s (1 Riverboat Dr.). KC Hopps’ Ed Nelson told Fox 4 that a new 810 Zone is expected to open at 50 Highway and Chipman Road in Lee’s Summit this summer. The Plaza location is still a prime spot to catch the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments. It’s open from 11 to 1:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
