Huddle House is ‘temporarily closed’ again

The Huddle House diner at 3959 Broadway is “temporarily closed” for at least the second time since it opened in 2012.

The restaurant, originally opened by Dr. Ahmed Awad (who also opened the short-lived Open Fire Pizza a few doors to the north — a venue that’s still available for lease), had also closed in October 2013 after the building flooded.

No one has been answering the phone at the Huddle House for several days.
