Hi Boy Drive-In’s Classic Car Cruise: Celebrating KC’s original smashed burger

The great places don’t change with the times. They just continue to be relevant.

Hi Boy Drive-In is staying relevant by continuing to serve its signature burger, thin and lightly charred around the edges. And the burger shop will actually go back in time for a night, close to

the year its first location opened in 1957. The Classic Car Cruise,

which attracts beautifully restored hot rods and muscle cars, returns

to the drive-in on Saturday, July 31.
