Green Dirt Farm puts Farm Table Dinners on sale tomorrow

One of the hottest culinary tickets in Kansas City goes on sale tomorrow.
The Farm Table Dinners — hosted from May through October on the grounds of the local award-winning cheese-making farm, just north of Weston, Missouri — will be prepared by 15 of Kansas City’s best-known chefs. Each meal features a sampling of the Green Dirt Farm cheeses, passed hors d’oeuvres and a featured seasonal cocktail, all served while that night’s featured chef prepares a unique meal that will be served at a single harvest table that seats 30.
The dinners go on sale tomorrow at 9 a.m. (for more information, go here) and typically sell out the same day. This year’s featured chefs are: Ted Habiger of Room 39 on Saturday, May 2; Michael Foust of the Farmhouse on Saturday, May 16; Alex Pope of the Local Pig on Saturday, June 13; Matt Arnold of Webster House on Sunday, June 28; Kyle Williams of Good Food Good Futures on Saturday, August 8; Brandon Winn on Sunday, August 9; Max Watson of Farm to Market Bread Co. on Saturday, August 22; Martin Heuser of Affäre on Sunday, August 23; Phillip Quillec of Café Provence on Saturday, September 5; David Ford of Port Fonda on Sunday, September 6; Megan and Colby Garrelts of Bluestem and Rye on Saturday, September 19; Howard Hanna of the Rieger Hotel Grill & Exchange on Sunday, September 20; Linda Duerr of the River Club on Saturday, October 3; and Ken Baker of the former Pachamama’s restaurant in Lawrence on Saturday, October 17.
The dinners are priced at $176.94 (which includes service fee) from Brown Paper Tickets.
