Green Dirt Farm one-day tour tickets go on sale tomorrow

Green Dirt Farm, the award-winning sheep dairy and cheese maker based in Weston, Missouri, doesn’t offer tours of the farm very often, so the autumn tour — scheduled for Sunday, October 19 — is a big deal for fans of the popular local cheese-making facility founded by Sarah Hoffman and Jacquie Smith.

Tickets cost $15 in advance for adults, and kids under 12 are admitted for free (up to two children per adult). Day-of tickets, if still available, will be $17. Tickets are required for the tour, and space is limited. The tour day ticket will feature guided tours of the farm and Cheese Kitchen. Visitors will also be permitted to take a hay ride from the sheep dairy to the open-air events barn where samples (and products for purchase) of Green Dirt Farm’s cheeses and yogurts will be displayed along with selections of locally produced bread from Fervere bakery, jams from Our Sassy Pantry, and beverage pairings including Boulevard Brewing Co.’s Tank 7, as well as local wines.

Tickets to this event will go on sale Saturday September 27, at 10 a.m. They can be ordered online by clicking here or by calling 1-800-838-3006.
