Who wants a decaffeinated alcoholic energy drink?

Chicago-based Phusion Projects announced Tuesday that it would remove caffeine, guarana and taurine from its popular alcoholic energy drink line, Four Loko. In an open letter to state and federal regulators, the company maintained its belief that mixing alcohol and caffeine isn’t “inherently unsafe,” but pledged its commitment to making sure that its products were enjoyed legally and responsibly.
