Foraged Flavor is bringing a talented roster of chefs to the KC Library

  • You should do some urban foraging Thursday.

When news that one of the nation’s top foragers was coming to town, a talented roster of chefs came out of the woodwork in Kansas City. Tama Matsuoka Wong, the forager for Daniel in New York City and the co-author of Foraged Flavor: Finding Fabulous Ingredients in Your Backyard or Farmer’s Market, is set to give a talk about her new book at the Central Branch (14 W. 10th St.) of the Kansas City Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. But it’s the reception beforehand that should have eaters punching the library’s address into their GPS.
