Fall is a perfect time to celebrate beer. That’s why the Flying Saucer is hosting its Fall Beer Festival from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at 101 East 13th Street. The lineup of brews (24 in all, spread out over six tents) includes Tallgrass Kold, Freestate Ad Astra, Founder’s Red Rye, Lagunitas A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’, Schlafly Pumpkin, Boulevard Dark Truth, and Reissdorf Kolsch. Flying Saucer has also promised tappings of Avery 17, Founder’s Black Biscuit, and Die du Ciel Peche Mortel.

If you need a palate cleanser, beer brats and Bavarian pretzels are on the menu. A crisp $20 bill gets you a

10-beer tasting glass (that you can take home).
