Fellow food truck drivers organize a benefit for The Funnel Cake Truck’s Michael Bradbury

The Bradbury family is getting a boost from the city’s food trucks.

The city’s food trucks are banding together to help Michael Bradbury, the owner of the Funnel Cake Truck, and his family after they lost their Olathe home in a fire last Friday. The Food Truck Benefit for the Bradburys has been set for Sunday, August 11, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Merriam Marketplace (5740 Merriam Drive). The truck list currently includes Brock Hops, Chef Baldee’s Pizza, Crave, Indios Carbonsitos, Monk’s Roast Beef, Prairie Fire Oven, Smokin’ Fresh BBQ, and Wilma’s. All of the proceeds will benefit the Bradbury family. You can also donate directly to the family here.
