Felitza’s on Strawberry Hill is closing

Felitza’s (402 North Fifth Street) in Kansas City, Kansas is closing. The Wyandotte Daily News has the story as owner Roberto Bautista has decided to shutter his restaurant on Strawberry Hill after eight years of operation.

Back in 2006, Charles Ferruzza reviewed Felitza’s and found echoes of Carmen’s Cafe in Brookside, which is owned by Roberto’s brother Juan. It was a neighborhood restaurant with five different chicken spiedini dishes and a deft touch with veal.
