Fazenda Brazilian Grill is testing your weighing skills on Tuesdays

It’s part carnival game and part restaurant promotion, but I have to give Fazenda’s Brazilian Grill (8626 North Boardwalk Avenue) credit for its latest marketing effort.

Charles Ferruzza found the accessible churrascaria to be “a fair deal” back in March, and that was before diners had the opportunity to win a free lunch or dinner. Every Tuesday, Fazenda has a unique challenge: If you can create a plate that weighs exactly 1 pound or 1.5 pounds, then your meal is free.
