Drunken Fish to ply its sushi trade in Leawood
You like sushi, you really like it. Drunken Fish, the import from St. Louis that opened in the Power & Light District last March, at 14 E. 14th St., is planning a second area sushi restaurant in Leawood. The Kansas City Business Journal reports that Drunken Fish will be taking over the former Fo Thai and Soy Asian Cuisine space (4331 W. 119th St.) in the One Nineteen development.
In May 2011, The Pitch’s Charles Ferruzza found the concept to be clever, albeit at times too clever. The second outpost of Drunken Fish is expected to open next May.
