Dog Nuvo adds new bar, new hours, hot bartender

Mandi Skudra’s business cards at Dog Nuvo, the hot dog cafe at 1724 Main, state that she’s the manager. But starting tomorrow, Skudra will also be the bartender in the restaurant. Owners Marshall Roth and Harry Blasco got their liquor license yesterday.

The sexy Skudra was, like Dog Nuvo’s owners Roth and Blasco, an employee of Independence restaurateur and attorney Ken McClain (who is still suing Dog Nuvo’s owners for allegedly stealing trade secrets) and has become a popular feature of the restaurant for her shapely figure and saucy personality.
