Do you take your coffee in substances other than coffee?

  • Coffee is now just another ingredient.

Like bacon, coffee has managed to find its way into all kinds of dishes. There’s coffee beer, coffee in chocolate (Serious Eats recently reviewed KA-POW), and Shatto unveiled its version of coffee milk last month. Some are inspired, like this ancho chili coffee-rubbed steak from Pierpont’s, while others are misguided (Barista Sips — the discontinued line of caffeinated strips).

You might be particular about what is in your cup of joe, but I bet you’ve got a few preferences as to the marketplace that has long since left behind chocolate-covered coffee beans. What do you like your coffee in?
