Do not look at this post about Panaderia San Luis without a piece of pastry in your hand

Pastry can be like beautiful works of art. Beautiful, edible works of art. And Kansas City With The Russian Accent managed to capture some of the art before it was all eaten at Panaderia San Luis (2077 East Sante Fe Drive) — a relatively new Mexican bakery in Olathe. 

You pick what you want using a pair of tongs and a tray from a series of pastry cases with glass doors. With more than 30 different baked goods and breads, you might be in the store for a while. But if the pastries taste and smell as good as they look, is that really such a bad thing?
