The meat in question comes from an apparent robbery. The Marshalltown Times-Republican of Marshalltown, Iowa, reported yesterday that a refrigerated semitrailer filled with meat scraps was stolen from a restaurant parking lot on Sunday. The likely destination? Chicago or Kansas City. So if you see Mid-Continent trailer #23111, walk away, because some deals on meat scraps are just too good to be true.
