D’Bronx is now open in Mission

D’Bronx has opened in Mission. The locally owned deli and pizzeria, known for serving New York-style slices, is up and running at the former Pizza Shoppe space at 6846 Johnson Drive. 

The restaurant began serving lunch at the tail end of last year before opening for dinner near the end of January. Those expecting a thin crust and grilled sandwiches will find a menu similar to the original 39th Street location, but the decor is a closer match to the restaurant in Overland Park, which opened in 2007.
