Dame Edna’s Nutrition Advice

Legendary comedienne Dame Edna Everage celebrates her 75th birthday today. The secret to her longevity, she reports, includes eating sensibly: “Meat in moderation, cake the rest of the time.”

Although Dame Edna was hired, in 2006, to participate in a campaign to encourage Australians to eat more fruits and vegetables, she has other, less traditional, nutritional ideas.

“Vomiting,” the youthful-looking septugenarian added, “is nature’s way of getting thin.”
