Customer satisfaction? Who has it, who doesn’t?

Last week Nation’s Restaurant News reported that the McDonald’s fast food empire had dropped by 4.3 percent in customer satisfaction, according to the American Satisfaction Index — from 70 out of 100 in 2009 to this year’s 67.
The big winners in customer satisfaction, according to the report, include Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar’s, and Starbucks in the fast-food category; for full-service restaurants, it’s Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Outback Steakhouse.
