Craig Howard’s sweet-potato biscuit sandwiches and other weekend possibilities

You need fuel to make it through a First Friday. So stop in to BadSeed’s Friday-night market (it runs from 4 to 9 p.m. at 1909 McGee) around 5 p.m. There, you’ll find Craig Howard of Howard’s Organic Fare & Vegetable Patch (full disclosure: I’m a member) making some serious sandwiches. He’s putting local bacon, Skyview farm cheese, garden greens, his own herb mayo and pickled vegetables on sweet-potato biscuits. The sandwiches cost $8, and you can add a soda and soup (likely chilled cucumber) for $4 more.
