Corvino’s fast-casual Ravenous is now open for takeout and delivery in the Crossroads

Michael and Christina Corvino, owners of the Crossroads fine-dining destination Corvino Supper Club and Tasting Room, had hoped to open a fast-casual lunch counter called Ravenous this summer. But the July target date came and went without an opening, the result of construction and permitting delays.

As of this week, permits are in hand and construction is complete. Summer’s gone, though, and because Ravenous is an outdoor space—it’ll be located in a small park adjacent to the Corrigan Station building at 19th and Walnut—the Corvinos are holding off on the official grand opening until the spring.

In the meantime, though, they’re offering the Ravenous menu for takeout and delivery during weekday lunch hours (11 a.m.–2 p.m.). That’s the initial plan, at least.

“We’ll see how things go if we can expand into weekend and dinner hours,” Christina Corvino says. “It just depends on if production for both concepts [both Ravenous and the Supper Club] can co-exist.”

Fried hand pies! Ravenous also will serve up malts and malted ice cream.
