Cork & Brew has closed in Liberty

After little more than a year in downtown Liberty, Cork & Brew has closed. The restaurant and wine bar at 8 E. Franklin St. was run by Jeff and Robin Woods. The space previously housed a Cupini’s.
Cork & Brew focused on using local ingredients: Bichelmeyer Meats, Jude’s Rum Cakes and Farm to Market all graced the tables at the restaurant on the square. They had a half-pound Kobe burger with bacon marmalade on Wolfermann’s English muffins and a Coastal Mac n’ Cheese made with an entire fishing boat’s catch (lobster, crab and scallops).
