Construction begins on second OP Dunkin’ Donuts

​Dunkin’ Donuts took one step closer to downtown — downtown Overland Park that is — by starting construction on a store at 7446 Metcalf.

Expected to open in May, the donut shop will be located on the former site of a BP Gas Station at the busy intersection at 75th and Metcalf. The pad around the site was mostly dirt yesterday afternoon as an earthmover sat waiting as if it were already in line at the drive-thru. The corner location shouldn’t be quiet for long; as the hours are going to be from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
