Models and students will hit the Plaza this afternoon when Rockhurst University’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority puts on its second-annual Strut to Save Fashion Show. Held in the space that used to house Arrowhead West (4750 Broadway), the show features outfits for men, women and kids from local boutiques, including Hemline and Addie Rose. All the struttin’ is for a good cause: All proceeds benefit breast cancer research, education and awareness. “We’ve been working hard to raise money for breast cancer. It’s something we really strive to do to make a difference,” organizer Alissa Gorris says. The show, which starts at 2 p.m., also features goody bags, nonalcoholic drinks, pink-ribbon-shaped cookies, and a candy bar — a buffet table laden with glass containers filled with pink-colored sweets. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students; kids 14 and younger see the fashion for free.
