Cone-ing suggests that humankind is officially on the decline

At times, we seem hellbent on finding the nexus of stupid and destructive. The latest Internet meme — Cone-ing — could get us there. Cone-ing is the act of grabbing the ice-cream portion of an ice-cream cone from a startled drive-thru employee. The joke is apparently that the ice cream falls or the expression on the face of the person handing you the cone. This is not a complex joke. It’s solely a waste of ice cream.
