Celebrate Bastille Day and other weekend possibilities

The Westport Cafe and Bar (419 Westport Road) is in the midst of a four-day celebration in honor of Bastille Day that culminates with a party on Sunday. The Westport restaurant has a three-course prix fixe dinner for the next three days. So you could find yourself ordering black truffle pasta, seared diver scallops and an espresso pot de creme.

The Sunday party has an extended happy hour, which begins at 4 p.m., and features $3 beers, $5 wines, three kinds of mussels for $5, a $10 plate of steak and pommes frites, along with Bastille Day Punch (a floral mix of strawberries, peaches, lavender and vodka).
