Browne’s open house and other weekend possibilities
If you think about Browne’s Irish Marketplace (3300 Pennsylvania) only when St. Patrick’s Day rolls around, then you’re missing out on a lot of fun the rest of the year. The market’s annual open house is today through Sunday. There are clothes and accessories imported straight from Ireland, but the free samples while you browse are the real attractions. The open house is 5-9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
