I don’t know how this will affect the hot dogs at Royals games but I have a feeling it might. The Royals have switched food vendors for stadium concessions to Aramark. (KC Biz Journal)

From the new FDA oversight report: “The agency’s food-related funding has not kept pace with inflation, with FDA losing 800 scientists, inspectors, and other critical food safety staff since fiscal year 2004.” Yikes. (Time)

I don’t mind it if you call your lunch special endless or never-ending but calling it bottomless just makes it sound dirty. Whatever you call it, expect to see more of it as restaurants push these “value” menus. (WSJ)
