Bo Lings warehouse goes up in flames

Last night’s fire in Overland Park, which destroyed the storage warehouse used by Richard and Theresa Ng, the owners of the six area Bo Lings restaurants, won’t affect business at the restaurants, Richard Ng says.

“We were testing some used refrigeration equipment,” Ng says. “I don’t know if there was a short in the wiring or the cord, but the equipment caught fire. The next thing we knew, the entire building was on fire, and the roof of the building was caving in.”

Among the things stored in the building? Lots of flammable carry-out containers and to-go boxes.
