Bella Napoli now has breakfast sandwiches

Brookside’s Bella Napoli began offering homemade breakfast sandwiches ($4) on Monday. The sandwiches are egg, cheese, ham or bacon on an onion or plain bagel. Here’s hoping they’ll let you substitute in their Italian sausage, which is worth adding time to your commute.

The sandwiches join the other items on the regular breakfast menu, which includes a fritatta of the day ($6.99, with a side of potatoes and toast) and the egg breakfast ($6.99, potatoes, toast, and choice of bacon or Italian sausage).

The coffee ($1.50) is ground fresh at the adjacent Coffee Bar and tends to be a good, strong cup. Bella Napoli is open on Monday (10 a.m to 3 p.m.), Tuesday to Friday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Saturday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and Sunday (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
