Bad Seed Farmers’ Market tonight

Even though the temperature is dropping faster than my credit score, that’s not going to prevent Bad Seed from having its urban farmers’ market tonight from 4 to 8, as it has had every Friday night this winter. Tomorrow is the second-to-last special Winter Market.
The Crossroads market is a self-proclaimed “urban-organic Farm and Market dedicated to providing the conscious consumer with nutritious and delicious foods grown
sustainably (and with love) in the immediate community.”
Owned by Brooke Salvaggio, the market sells food from Salvaggio’s own farm off of Bannister Road and many other local vendors. For the special market, expect lots of hardy veggies like kale, artichokes and squash along with cheeses by Green Dirt Farm, grass-fed beef from Wells Family Farm, hot cocoa from Puddin’ Head Coffee and snacks such as popcorn and cookies from Roaring River Bread Company.
Bad Seed is located at 1909 McGee.
