Bacon pancakes suggest pork was meant to be battered

Pancakes always get a bacon smile. But what about me, breakfast? When do I get my bacon smile?

It looks like that smile could come from bacon pancakes — the latest meatstrosity from Wired writer Matt Blum, as he embarks on a quest (the Great Bacon Odyssey) to discover the ultimate bacon dish.

Last month, Blum managed to choke down the bacon burger, a patty made entirely of bacon. Breakfast, the traditional realm of bacon, appears to have treated him more kindly.
