Avenues Bistro, your apple cake shooter has bested me

The breakfast buffet table at Avenues Bistro in Mission Farms holds all sorts of pitfalls. Are you going to fill up on peel-your-own shrimp or bacon scones? Will you fail to grab a cinnamon roll because you’re too busy loading up on cold cuts and cheese slices?

I visited the Brookside restaurant’s sister location for the first time this past weekend. And though I managed to avoid overeating, I still have yet to decipher exactly what I’m supposed to do with the apple-cake shooter.
