Andrew Zimmern offers his KC ‘cue recommendations in Sky magazine

It’s nice to discover that Andrew Zimmern isn’t always eating durian or an unconventional part of an animal. The host of Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel is known for literally getting into the guts of a place’s food culture, eating insects and blood pudding for our entertainment.

Zimmern is looking for the heart of Kansas City in this month’s Delta Sky Magazine. In his most recent monthly column, Andrew’s Picks, he focuses on three “lesser-known” barbecue joints — Earl Quick’s, Danny Edward’s and B.B.’s Lawnside Blues & BBQ.
