Amor Picante owner says it will serve everything but Mexican fare

While maybe not serving everything, Micah Riggs — the guy recently featured in The Pitch for building a synthetic pot empire — wants future customers of Amor Picante, his yet-unopened restaurant at 900 West 39th Street, to know that it won’t be a Mexican restaurant. “This area is pretty saturated with those right now,” he says.

Riggs says Amor Picante will serve dishes from Peru, Paraguay, Spain and Venezuela. “If God exists, we’ll be open next week.”
