A new Parisi Cafe opens in Leawood in November

- Paris Brother Specialty Foods
The success of the first Parisi Cafe — a coffeehouse serving locally roasted Parisi coffees, sodas, artisan teas and a limited food menu — inside Union Station has inspired the coffee company’s owners, Paris Brother Specialty Foods, to lease space in Leawood’s Park Place for a second metro location.
The new coffeehouse, which will be almost twice the space of the Union Station venue, will also serve wine and coffee liqueur beverages and, according to Scott Presnell, director of marketing, additional food items in the pastry case and the refrigerated grab-and-go case.
The new Parisi Cafe, tentatively scheduled to open in late November, will be near Mestizo restaurant at 5245 W. 116th Place near the Park Place development’s south parking garage and breezeway. The cafe’s hours are expected to be from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
